Hello, my name is Christina, and I am a life-long athlete, gymnast and acrobat! I started gymnastics at the age of 7 after begging my mom to take me out of ballet so I could learn to flip. I was obsessed from day one! I had many injuries that could have stolen my ability to participate in my new passion, including fracturing two vertebra. But instead, I learned about a new power I had inside myself to foster both healing and perseverance. As a result, I enjoyed a 15-year competitive career as a gymnast that included competing at the collegiate level for Cornell University. From there, I knew I could not let my passion for gymnastics die, so I started coaching and dabbling into the circus arts, primarily standing hand-to-hand acrobatics. Once again hobby became obsession as I started training more and more and started performing professionally. Today, I feel truly blessed to continue to be so active and performing in my sport after 29 years. Age is just a number, follow your dreams!
